Water is life…
This is true especially understood in the desert, where generations of ancestral knowledge insure the ability to discover, conserve, share, and respect the flow of water. It represents birth, re-birth, sustenance, abundance, and even death.
Connecting to our ancestors and lineages means connecting with all these aspects of life. When we do, we remember the sufferings and strength of those who came before, and we are resourced to live with commitment, courage and creativity.
Systemic Constellations Work helps us do this. It is about the alignments and arrangements in our larger family and communal stories, similar to the web of relationship we find in all ecosystems, including deserts. All of us are the recipients of many generations of collective experiences, just like a desert inherits millennia of unfolding geological, meteorological, plant, animal, and human processes. The practice of Constellations explores how the more immediate situations in our lives fit into those broad patterns that precede our individual lives, just like we see the results of geological history in the layers we see before us now in cliffs, arroyos, and bosques.
Hidden beneath it all — for humans and for landscapes — is the unending flow of water and life.
In this work, we can finally discover where we have come from, where we are now,
and most importantly where we would like to go…
For the third time, we will gather at our desert venue in Northern New Mexico to find renewal, challenges, surprises and connections. We warmly invite you to join us!
What is Family & Systemic Constellations Work?
This Intensive is centered in the practice founded by Bert Hellinger, and since developed as a means of cross-generational inquiry and healing. The traumas of history linger when they can’t be fully acknowledged and dealt with at the time. That unresolved history shows up in our personal and collective pain. Through constellations work we can include all that has taken place, release what is over, and receive deep strength for our paths ahead.
We honor that Hellinger, our founder, passed away in late 2019. He was the teacher of many of our past and present faculty and is acknowledged to be the founder of our beautiful work. You can read some essays on what Hellinger meant to Suzi Tucker (past and present faculty) and to Leslie Nipps (founder and organizer).
If you are new to constellations work, go to our What are constellations? page to find out more. We invite you to take this journey in a beautiful place, with fellow explorers, guided and supported by our world-famous faculty.
Who is this event for?
This event is for:
- Anyone needing solace, inspiration, and community in our extraordinary times.
- Constellation “fans” who enjoy the idea of deep-diving into this beautiful and soul-stirring work.
- Constellation facilitators and trainers who are looking for new approaches to the work, and who want to up-level their practice.
- Admirers of Francesca, Sneh, Bill, and Leslie, who know their fine work, and want to work with them more!
All levels of constellations experience are welcome! Whether brand new to constellations or an experienced facilitator or trainer, the program is designed to provide opportunities for participants to do their personal work and/or professional learning in a safe, supportive environment. The structure of the Intensive means that the work will be customized for the learning and growth level of the participant.
For Personal Work and for Collective Healing
Bert Hellinger once defined healing as bringing together parts that have been separated. He was describing a movement from the kind of fragmentation that happens in the face of great strife, whether in communities or within the individual soul, to the reparation that naturally occurs when we commit to truly seeing one another – and ourselves – with compassion. It is an invitation to walk in the company of caring others as we seek out the wisdom of our ancestors to move forward more boldly and in greater unity. You are warmly welcomed to find out more, and join us!
